Makenzie Metcalf
Baby Metcalf has arrived. She was born yesterday at 5:30pm. She weighed 7lbs and was 20 inches long. She is adorable. Mom & Dad are doing great. I am happy to say Marci & I will be the favorite aunts. Kali can't wait to see her. Since the swine flu is around they are not letting anyone under the age of 14 be in the hospital. It broke my heart that Kali couldn't be there. I am sure they will grow up being great friends. We are so excited for the new addition to the Pratt family. Enjoy some pictures!! She is adorable

Boots
Kali has been really wanting some boots. Each time she goes into my closet she says mom I want some boots like yours. So I picked her up so the other day that where cheap...They probably won't last long but I thought they were cute & she loves them.. She also told me that day she wanted to where a sweater...lol
From Baby To Little GIRL
I have been wanting to move Kali into a twin bed. So I finally got around to doing it. My little sister Marci gave Kali her bedroom set. So I painted it and put new hard ware on the dresser & night stand. It was a really fun project, Brian helped my out a lot as well. Thanks Babe!
My whole idea when doing Kali's room as a baby is that I would be able to use a lot of the same things and turn it into a little girls room. I didn't want a teenage room just yet so here is what he got. I think it turned out really well. She has been in a bed for about a week now and has done so good. Not much different from the crib. I have heard stories so I was a bit nervous. But I think she was ready and transitioned really well. She just turned 2 1/2.

Here was her crib. I kept the same green was a all her decorations and just changed things around to make them little girl & not baby. Wow they grow up so fast. I was at first a little sad. But she was so happy about her new bed. Each faze in life brings great happiness. I just love all the stages..

Happy Halloween Tinker Bell
Our little Tinker Bell. She had a really fun time going to a few houses on our street & then up to the Carter for a few more treats.
Since Halloween was on a Saturday this year we went to my work party on Friday for the annual Sloppy Joes...Yummy!!
We also visited Daddy's work. The Herald goes all our for Halloween and decorates there whole office and has tons for treats. Kali was pretty bashful but I think all in all she had a fun time. She also got a special little tinker bell key chain from Brian's secretary....so cute.
Here is just a glimpse of some of the decorating at Brian's work...
Cooper & Kali later that night. Both of them were tired and did not want another pictures so this is the best one I got....
We also went to Grandma Marilyn's school & grandma got to show off her only GIRL...

Picking Apples
The Carter has great tradition have having fabulous fruit. This year they picked 20 bushel of Red Delicious apples....and they were delicious. They are so generous with there apples anyone who wants or will use them they give them to. We even used them 2 years ago for an enrichment activity. It all started with Great Grandpa Carter...he has taught chad how to raise yummy apples and we are reaping the benefits...and we all tried to help pick a little to...And we sure had fun doing it.

Fall Time
Here is Utah our family loves fall. I loved driving home from work (I work at the mouth of Provo Canyon) see all the leaves. I just couldn't wait to get home to see what our leaves had done that day. This year they were vibrant. The pictures don't even do them justice. Kali & Brian cleaning up the leaves and me and Kali had fun jumping in them.

It was so windy when Brian was trying to rake up the leaves, they were going everywhere...

The whole reason we headed to San Diego was to go to the football game. The stadium was amazing, the weather was perfect & the company was ideal!! We couldn't have asked for anything more. Here are a few pictures of us crazy cougar fans enjoying the WIN!!
