4 Yrs Old 4 Months Old
Where oh where does the time go. I can't believe that Kali just turned four & Lexi about to turn 4 months. They are truly the joys of my life. Not a day goes by when I don't stop & think how lucky I am to be there mom & I know Dad feels the same way. They definitely keep us hopping. From one game, toy, coloring, dinner, lunch, bedtime, changing, feeding, rolling over you name it!! But they are becoming such great freinds. It has been so much to see them interact, and if Lexi makes it through Kali giving her more hugs & kisses than she can barley handle I am certain they will be the best of friends. Here are a few pictures I took on Kali's birthday.
Same Outfit
This is both Kali & Lexi in the same outfit. Kali is with the littler white bow & Lexi with the larger bow. Lexi was just a few days over 3 months and Kali was just a few days over 1 month. Crazy how different 2 kids can be. Many times I see so much of them in each other. They have some of the same mannerisms. And there looks are sometimes the same, but as you can see they look like sisters.

Kelli
Kelli needed a little break from being at home with her new little one Whitney so she packed up the kiddos & came down too have a little fun with us. Our littlest ones are only 2 weeks apart. So there are 4 grandkids all GIRLS...we may get some DRAMA in the next few years...but they are all sweet & precious. Thanks Kelli for coming down for some much needed company.
Mommy Time
With two little ones I have really learned what "Mommy Time" is. Something I love...Kali loves to do hair & it is something she can do while I feed lexi. She has come up with quite the do's. She combs, clips, rats, poofs & starts all over again...I just love her personality. Lexi loves to laugh & play to so we do lots of it through the long Winter months!!
Valentines Day
Kali has really became our social little butterfly. She has play group everynow & again with some of her little friends, and it has been fun to see her learning to interact with other little girls.
Kali's first Valentine Day box...She decorated it all by herself :) and loved when all the kids in the neighborhood left goodies on the door...And she especially enjoyed delivering her own goodies.
Grandma & Grandpa Delange
These are two of my favorite people. They are the kind that always make you feel welcome, needed & most important loved. These are my mom's parents they live down south but they always make an effort to come up and see us up "North" as they would say. They come up to see Lexi for the first time & or course they brought Kali a King Sized Candy Bar...we always called them the Candy Grandparents...

Great-Grandpa Carter passed away

Brian's Grandpa Carter passed away yesterday morning around 9:50 am in the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He had gotten an infection 2 days prior to him passing away in his pic line from Dyalis. And it was his time to be taken back to our Father in Heaven. Earl was a man of Integrity, Honesty, Kindness, Very soft spoken, and had many Christlike attributes. He will be very missed by his family. Brian has been lucky just living up the street from him his entire life and has many memories of Grandpa!!

6 weeks
Wow where has the time gone. Lexi will be 6 weeks in 3 days. So I thought while I had a minute I would tell you want she has been up to. Well she is starting to smile, really starting to notice everything around here...especially here clothes in her closet when I am changing her. She is quite ticklish...
She is such a good baby. She sleeps 5 to 6 hours at night waking up to eat then right back to bed till morning. Takes a bath in the morning then sleep for about 1 1/2 hours. Then in the afternoon sleep for about 3 hours. Then awake most of the night, cat naps here and there...She has been a joy. Kali has been such a great Big Sister looking out for her every step of the way. :)
We did have one scare the other night when Lexi was choking on some milk. She turned blue, head, lips & fingers...it was a really scary moment. Since then I have learned infant CPR, really realized how precious these little ones are and that they are
100 % dependent on Mom & Dad...Wow we really had to work hard to get her to breath. Lexi you are a joy & a blessing in our family!!
Cupcakes
WOW!! Don't Sunday's get long...Especially in the Winter months, Especially with a new baby...I feel like we are running out of things to do INSIDE!! Plus all of our family & friends have some sort of cold or sickness so we haven't been able to take Lexi anywhere...So we have been baking, playing, watching movies, playing Go Fish, Candyland, Chutes & Ladders...humm listening to music, playing dress up, did I mention we need some SUNSHINE.... :)
