Weekend in Richfield

Kali, Marci, My mom & Me spent the weekend in Richfield...We had such a great time. We got to spend time with lots of cousins that we don't see that much anymore. This is our little family after church.

The Bake off

My mom and her mom were making bread for Courtney's fair-well. So my mom and grandma decided to have a bake off!! Of coarse neither one of them used a recipe and they laughed the whole time. Well my mom swore that they did everything the same but her bread started to rise quicker.....My mom was holding out....she added a half a cup of sugar to her's...The rolls were great....and it was so fun to make bread with those 2.

Shoes

So my mom bought these 3 pair of prom shoes for her niece that lives down in Richfield. Well this pair didn't fit and so my grandma thought she should try them on...We all got a kick out of my grandma trying to walk (with assistance from Marci of course) my grandpa whistled at her as she strutted her stuff back and forth in the living room. And then the next day she said, "i dreamed about those shoes all night". My grandma is a fun, talent lady. I have learned so many great things from her. I often think of her...Thanks for letting us stay.

And of coarse Kali wanted to try them on as well. Who knew you could have this much fun with a pair of shoes.

Great Grandpa Delange & Kali

This is Kali & Great Grandpa Delange. They were going out to look at the cows. Kali had such a great time on the farm. She loved the kitty's, cows, horses and jumping in puddles.

Kali up on the tractor. My grandparents have this awesome barn/shed (I am not sure what to call it). It has a cole burning stove and it is where my uncle & grandpa spend most of the winter getting things ready for the spring.

Swimming Lessons

Kali & I just recently started mommy & me swim lessons. I really wanted to go just to keep Kali familiar with the water. Brian's brother & his wife have a pool so I want her to learn a few basic things. Well this little one loves the water....We do all sorts of fun things, sing songs and play games..After the fist time we got out she looked at me and said, "more mom". She is so much fun in the water and is really enjoying lessons....I don't mind them either....minus getting in a bathing suit in march with pasty white legs and freezing cold after you get out :) The things we do for our kids!!

Kali & her friend Ava getting ready for there first swim lesson.

State Tournament!

Well March Madness has begun and we have been having lots of fun going to the basketball games. Provo High is playing at the East Center and they are predicted to win the state tournament. Cory is coaching so we are forever bulldogs fans. These are pictures of Kali's little rosy cheeks after playing tag with the Leishman boys....She just loves running around with them.

Bad Mom

Well it is official...I have done a bad mom thing. This morning Kali and I were making breakfast together....and she loves sitting up on the counter. So I let her because if I don't she just says, hold mom the whole time I am making the eggs. So she was on the counter holding the bag of cheese waiting for the eggs to finish cooking, when all of the sudden she dropped the cheese and tried to get it. resulting in her falling off the counter onto the tile floor and causing quit a mark... She hardly even made a peep. She is a tough little girl. But now she has the marks to prove it...So I am officially a bad mom. And no more sitting on the counter..

Making Cookies

Well since the weather has been so cold and yuckie we are starting to run out of things to do inside...And we only can go shopping for so many days...because Dad say's "shopping can't be a hobbie". lol So we made sugar cookies the other day. It was really fun. We made green flowers...I know, green, but that is the color that Kali chose. I think she liked making the frosting the best because then she got to like the beaters...YUM, YUM

Yet Another Hair Cut

Well Kali is on to yet another Hair cut....this time I feel like at least she has a little style. I have been trying to grow out the sides since they have taken the longest to grow. So finally I couldn't take the mullet look any longer. So we cut it all of and now we can start growing in all together...Yippy!! I think it turned out so cute. Thanks Emily!!

Just for Fun

Kali is growing up so fast and is shortly on her way to being TWO...I can hardly beilieve I will have a TWO year old. She is really into wearing tights & dresses so I figure why not...as long as she has warm tights I don't see any harm. She loves wearing my dressy shoes and walking around the house. I just thought these pictures were cute..Hope you enjoy.

5 Year Anniversary!!

Our Anniversary is December 30th. We have been married 5 wonderful years. I can't believe how fast time flys. I for sure love Brian more each and everyday. If I were to tell you all the things I love about him I would be here all day. He is such a great husband and father. Kali loves her daddy to come home and play. When he leaves for work in the morning she say's, "Daddy, work? I say Yes. Then she immediately says, "play". She knows when he gets home she gets to play with him. I am so thankful for the fun we have together. I can truly say he is my best friend. Brian I love you :) And I have loved enjoying the roses he got for me.

Tubing

Most of the Clan!!
Well we all got new tubes for Christmas. So we headed up Park City Canyon to Mountain Dell Golf Course. We had such a great time. Kali loved going fast and just kept saying more. The only hard thing was carrying her back up the hill. Thank goodness for Papa meeting us half way and taking her up the rest of the way. It was really fun. We also had Seth and Kelli's cousin's Noah & Emily. We all know now that Kelli spends most of her time...off the

Welcome Home Cooper

Well Cooper is home from the hospital and doing great. Kali is so exited for when she gets to play with him and hold him and love him. We are so glad he is doing so well. And Mom & Dad are doing great to. Here are a few cute pictures from the day he came home. I had to quickly make a sign and it doesn't do any justice to the one my sister in law made for me...But I had to perform under pressure. We found out they would be coming home with only 30 minutes to spare.

Cooper Carter

Well it is official!! I am an Aunt for the first time and Kali has her first cousin. Cooper! Kali say, "Coop" it is so fun. He was born on Christmas day at around 3:02 in the afternoon. What a great Christmas present to all of us. Tiffany is a trooper and went through 26 hours of labor. She is doing great and will be the best mom. Cooper had a hard time breathing on his own at first and was sent to the NICU a few minutes after delivery and since then is doing really well. He also developed an infection and will need to stay in the hospital for a few more days. He is the cutest little guy and has dark brown hair with brown eyes. We are so thankful for him and our prayers are continuing for this little guy and his family.

Jeff's Mission Call

Well Jeff's Mission call came the day of Christmas Eve. My parents wanted to surprise him. So later on that evening when we were having our little christmas program my dad asked Jeff if he would come over and hold up some pictures for him. As he started flipping through the pictures there was his mission call. He was called to the Santiago, Chile West mission. He will report to the Mission Training Center on April 22nd. We are all so exited for him. He will be learning spanish and is really exited for that. What a great way to start Christmas.

Christmas Morning

Well as most of you know all Kali wanted from Santa this year was a baby. Christmas morning was so cute. She got so exited when se saw her baby. She could hardly wait until my dad could get it out of the box. Then after we started opening so presents she wanted to try them all on and carry everything she got. She would run up to the person who gave her a present and give them a big hug and say thank you. Christmas was really fun this year with Kali. We also got to talk to by brother who is serving in Jackson, Mississippi and that was so fun. He is doing so great and is such a good missionary.

Early Christmas at the Carters

Well since Chris was going into the MTC on Dec 17th we all decided to have Christmas a little early. Kali got a kitchen set from Gma & Gpa and the rest of the night we had to force her to open more presents. It was so funny. Aunt tiffany made Kali the cutest tutu skirt and as soon as she puts it on she starts to twirl. Crazy how they know what to do at such a young age. We had a great time with the carters.
