Catching UP

Ok this season is over, which I can't believe....And I think I am as caught up as I can be on my blog. I am not the best at blogging but I sure enjoy everyone else. Now lets all get together and pray for Spring...Miss you all and love you.

Kali go the 2 cutest things for Christmas. A rocking horse that I don't have a picture of and a Lion that Kali loves. The nose lights up and makes noise...She is able to sit on it now and just kinda move back and forth in place...And when she starts walking it acts as a walker....Wonderful

dressed in red

Grandma Pratt got Kali 2 of the cutest dresses I have seen, with tights and shoes to match! This dress just made her look like a little princess....(Not that I want her to be a princess). But I couldn't help and think how fun little girls are and what a blessing she has been in our life and those that she is around. I with show the other dress when she grows into it...I am sure it won't be long. Thanks Grandma for keeping me in cute dresses....

Daddy & Kali Christmas Morning

I wasn't sure that Kali would have much fun this Christmas....Boy was I wrong. She was so much fun and made all of us have an enjoyable time opening gifts...She wanted all the paper and enjoyed opening her own gifts as well. She didn't care much for what was inside, except Aunt Tiff gave her a mini Winnie the Pooh Bear and she loved and kissed it all day. Dad had to get Kali a few things for Christmas being how much he loves his little girl. He got her a pari of shoes, (if you couldn't guess that already), a v-tec lab top that plays all shorts of fun things...Now when I am on the computer she can play with her own (Don't we wish it worked like that) And I purchased her a toy box for my living room...Since that is where she always is...seemed silly to buy one for her room..right? Christmas was really fun and we are so thankful for friends and family and spending time with them. My mother in law gave me a picture and it says " I have learned that being with those I love....is enough.

Uncle Nate As Santa

At the Carter's Christmas Eve, Nate was nominated to be Santa...With the square beard and the hole in his pants he made a great Santa....Kali wasn't sure about his though...She must of known he was not the real Santa....She loves Uncle Nate!!

Kali in Pink

I just loved this picture of Kali...She got this little sweater from her Aunt Tiffany's mom. I feel like she looks like a little toddler it in. They sure do grow fast. I took Kali into the doctor last week because I thought she may have an earache and indeed I was right. But she weighs 20pds...Crazy going on 9 months. No wonder my back hurts :)

Kali in the snow

Kali and I decided to play in the snow while Dad was at work...Even though we didn't last long we got some cute pictures. I think we got at least 6 inches....

Sitting On Santa's Lap

I was really surprised that Kali liked Santa so well. She immediately started playing with his bells and looking around at all the decorations. For anyone who doesn't know you can take your own pictures at Provo Town Center Mall with the kids on Santa's lap...So you don't have to buy there pictures unless you want...NICE....something fun & free....

Santa Hat

Grandma Carter and Kali had fun playing with the Santa Hat. Kali loves things on her head...She laughs & laughs....

Lunch Crew @ The Olive Garden

Well after the Festival of Trees we decided to grab a "quick" lunch. Key word is "Quick". We thought since it was 2:00 in the afternoon we would just grab soup & salad and be on our way. Well we jinksed ourselfs from the get go. First of all our waiter introduced himself with a different name than what was on his tag....Didn't get salad or breadsticks until our soup came out. Asked for a refill 2 or 3 times and he acted as if we never asked....Then when it was time to pay....oh my goodness...Gave him 26 dollars and told him to keep the change...and he brought us 5 dollars back and told us that he rounded up....ok,,,, come to find out he switch our money and the change was for my Aunt Mary but her bill was only 8 dollars and wanted change back...so she should have gotten 11 dollars....not 5.... and wasn't anything to do with our bill.....Gee I have such a hard time eating out these days. I feel like we always get poor service and we are paying decent prices for food, does anyone feel the same way...Just had to share that eventful experience...with the pictures to follow. Oh one more thing with Kathy's food....This is how he packaged it...Broke up the breadsticks and some how managed to mangle the Alredo with the bread....Imagine that....EVENTFULLLL!!

Kathy's Left Over's

This is how her left over's got packaged...With the breadsticks mixed in with the Alfredo....Soggy....

Change!!

Grandma Pratt & Kali

Kali, Grandma, Aunt Mary and Kathy headed to the Festival of Trees on Friday. Of course we thought if we went early there wouldn't be anyone there....WRONG...it was packed...But we had a really good time walking around and looking at all of the trees that had been hand crafted and donated...What a great cause. Stay tuned for the lunch after at the Olive Garden...AHHH

There is a BLUE that looks Cute on A Girl :)

Sweet!!

Kali and I have such a good time together...She is the happiest baby...I just love her so much...She is growing like a weed...Her next doctor appointment is in January and she will be 9 months...I can't believe how fast the time has gone...

I've Been Tagged!

Tagged by Amber...Thanks! :)

The rules when you are tagged:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.(So WATCH OUT - You MIGHT be tagged NEXT!!!) So here a few things about me...ENJOY

1. Brian and I met 2 years prior to dating. We worked for Provo City Rec Center and loved every minute. We hung out every night and got paid for it....it was great. We started dating end of June 2003 and were married the end of December 2003. I love Brian so much....I fell even more in love with him when he became a dad. He is the best dad...so patient, loving and helpful...Brian I love you!!

2. One thing I absolutely love it 80's music...Def Leopard, Bon Jovi, Journey, Peter Cetera and just about anything 80's. I love to turn up the music when I am cleaning and dance around. My friend Celeste and I would turn on Def Leopard and dance...we would call this working out!

3. I love friends and family....hence my cell phone bill has always been a problem.. Brian finally got me a home phone...(now I just need to use it) I love talking as most of you know. I love deep conversation and really getting to know someone. I love serving, my week hasn't been complete if I haven't taken the time to help someone else in need.

4. I love being a mommy...I can't wait till Kali can say Mommy...we are the best of friends. She is so fun and as a cute personality...we play and laugh and read books all day....Oh I can't forget she and I love to go. We are going to Disney World in April.

5. I also love my job... I love my job and the people I work with. I feel very fortunate to work 2 days a week and love what I do. I hate leaving Kali but she is in the best of hand with Grandma C.arter tending on Monday's and Grandma Pratt tending on Wednesdays and coming to my house...What more could you ask for.

6. Last but not least I am thankful for the Lord...For everything that I have. I have really been thinking lately on how blessed our Family really is. We don't have to go with out much and we have each other.

Kelli and Seth got married on Aug 11th and it was great day. We had such a fun time and they are doing great. They are living in Sugar house. Kelli is working at Bysis and Seth is working and going to school. It is so fun to have Seth in the family....all except for her bleeds red and much a Brian bleeds blue....GO UTES!!

Other Dresses

Kali is in trouble because I love dresses and tights and bows and clips....I remember when my mom would make us put curlers in our hair and how much I hated it....I can see my self being the same way. Girls are to fun!! If anyone ever needs cute clips, bows, barrettes....I have a great resource.
